about
From the heart of the dance floor, Savaggio ignites the crowd with live electric violin, injecting raw string mastery into deep electronic grooves. Under his magnetic aura, you lose yourself to a hypnotic flow—a state of total surrender where the line between stage and crowd vanishes, and a new dimension opens.
“Watching Savaggio perform at a mountain festival in Bulgaria was a real highlight. His artistry and stage presence were something special, and the crowd was absolutely captivated from start to finish. A truly unique and talented musician.”

Long before he brought his ‘deepstring’ sound to club culture, Savaggio began a lifelong relationship with the violin as a young boy, drawn to the instrument after watching his grandmother play. Recognizing his early appetite for music, she started his classical training—and years later, passed down her own violin as his first full-sized instrument. The moment he played his debut concert on it changed his life forever:
“I remember the resonance in that hall like it was yesterday. The acoustics, the audience under my spell, the thrill of live expression, even the butterflies in my stomach – it was electrifying. Now I knew I didn’t just want to play, I wanted to perform.”
— Roberto Savaggio
Falling in love with electronic music moved him to Berlin, where he started playing on the streets and ended up in the clubs. Crowds watched with rapture as he gave them ‘deepstring’ live on the dance floors of Berlin clubs like Kater Blau, Ritter Butzke and Sisyphos and beyond to House of Yes (NYC) and La Bellevilloise (Paris). The journey continued across global festival stages, including Chateau Perché (France), YinYang (Great Wall of China), Meadows in the Mountains (Bulgaria).
“The first time I saw Savaggio play at Kater, I felt a connection to the performance unlike anything I'd experienced until that moment. It was as if he was speaking directly to us through his violin. His movements and passion were magnetic. He was clearly lost in the music, and we were totally entranced.”

Sounds were hosted on labels like Magician On Duty, Traum Schallplatten, Suprematic, Submarine Vibes, Natura Viva, ThreeRecords and now his own – nomnomnom – which he founded in 2025 with Dark Arps as a place for misfits to celebrate difference.
"Savaggio brings a truly singular sound to our label catalog. His 'deepstring' approach treats the violin not as an ornament, but as a core voice within the arrangement - seamlessly moving between live strings, electronic rhythms, and pure improvisation."
— Magician on Duty
At the heart of the 'deepstring' experience is a profound human connection. There are no barriers—the moment is shaped collaboratively in real time. When Savaggio takes the floor, he pulls you into an immersive, shared journey that turns onlookers into active participants, locking every heartbeat in the room into one, united groove.
He still has his grandmother’s violin, and every time he plays it, he brings her back to life.

Hazardous Life • New Single
“Hazardous Life” traces the narrative arc of reaching your limit with routine, making a split-second bad call, and running with it anyway. Driven by some jagged synths, dissonant tones and unsettling sound bites, it's about the moment you make the decision to stop playing it safe.
